Conley & Wirick FAQs

View some of our most frequently asked
questions here…

1. Can I afford a lawyer?

Conley & Wirick accepts injury and other
cases on a contingent fee basis. This means
that we only charge you legal fees if and
when we collect from the insurance company
or other responsible party. We provide a
signed written contract that protects you on
this.

Few offer free consultation…

We will meet with you at your home or here at the office to discuss your potential case. This consultation is for free. If we determine that your case has merit, we will enter into a fee
arrangement at that meeting.

2. What about the damage to my vehicle?

You should contact your insurance agent about the accident and get an estimate for repair of the vehicle or have the insurance company send an appraiser to inspect the vehicle. If you don't have collision coverage, you may request the other driver's insurance company to pay for your vehicle. The other insurance company will often insist that the accident was partly your fault and try to reduce the amount they pay you for the damage to your car. If Conley & Wirick are representing you on your personal injury, we will handle the property damage claim, which is part of our commitment to personal service. We will also determine whether or not you are entitled to a rental car.

4. Should I talk to the adjuster or claim specialist for the person or company that caused me or my child's injuries?

No. Politely decline and explain that you are going to consult us to handle your case.

5. Will the insurance company be fair with me?

You must be careful. Insurance companies can take advantage of your honesty to gather information and evidence that they later use against you.
