About Us

Personal Attention - It's What Separates Us From Other Law Firms.

Attorneys Conley & WirickConley & Wirick provide high quality legal services by combining aggressive and creative legal representation with caring and compassion for our clients and their families. We pay attention to the facts and details of your case. We are known for taking on insurance companies and large corporations in challenging cases. We don't just take the easy case.

Attorney Conley is an experienced trial attorney who is rated AV in Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating of ability and integrity based upon data obtained from judges and other top lawyers in the State of Maine.

Our goal in injury and death cases is recovery of the highest settlement or to obtain the highest verdict for our clients in the shortest time possible, given the facts and demands involved. We truly understand that traumatic and life changing injuries have a devastating emotional and financial effect on the victim and the family, and we strive to balance this concern with the demands of the legal system, in order to free our clients to focus on their own lives and getting better.

We also truly understand that legal problems can bring the operations of a business to a halt, and we strive to solve legal problems creatively and quickly, freeing our clients to focus on running their businesses.

Attorney J. Michael Conley is the former senior partner of a larger law firm, Fitzgerald, Conley, Haley & O'Neil, which was founded in 1963. He left in 1998 to form his own firm to focus on representing individuals and small businesses. Attorney Conley represents injured persons and their families in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, defective products, medical malpractice, construction site injuries, slip and fall, catastrophic and other severe injuries. He also concentrates in business and commercial law, including civil litigation. He has vast trial experience and has successfully handled many mediations and arbitrations. The firm has an association with a larger law firm, which also concentrates in these types of cases. This provides our clients with the resources and back up of a large law firm with offices in Portland and Southern Maine but still allows Attorney Conley and his staff to give the personal and compassionate services for which they are known.

Legal Fees
We handle personal injury and wrongful death cases on a contingent fee basis, which means that the client pays no legal fee to us unless and until we have obtained a recovery by settlement or trial. We also handle other individual and business cases on a set hourly rate, as well as on a retainer basis with a set fee agreed upon in advance.

WE OFFER A FREE ONE-HOUR CONSULTATION.
